Activities 2007:

SD Germany has active partnerships with about 20 projects in Indonesia, India, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Ukraine and Germany. A highlight of 2007 was getting the approval of BMZ for a 4 year project to combat Malaria in Kalimantan. The project has a total budget of about 250,000 Euros, of which YUM and SD Germany have to finance 25%.

In the area of Public Relations and Advocacy SD Germany held a very successful weekend seminar as part of celebrating its 25th anniversary with a number of workshops on various aspects of Susila Dharma. For this they obtained external funding for the seminar so that it didn't burden the budget.

In the field of publications SD Germany produced 2 issues of their magazine Umschau (Outlook), 4 issues of the newsletter Einblick (Insight) and weekly issues of their brief office newsletter Susi-Woche (Susi-Week) which keeps our extended team informed about what is going on.

In 2007, SD Germany received 41% of its revenue from external sources and $153,342 was provided in grants to project partners.

  1. Publications: Susi-Woche, 2 Umschau. 5 Einblick, website
