It is associated with Subud Canada, is run by a volunteer Board and focuses on raising funds for its partner projects, educating Canadians about development issues and engaging youth.
With an annual budget of between $30,000-$40,000 SD Canada participates in the international SD network and partners to support the following projects:
- Semillitas Amanecer, Colombia
- Child's Garden of Peace, Brazil
- Projects in Cuba
- Tierraviva, Argentina
- YUM Women to Women Microcredit and Education program, Indonesia
- Anh Linh School, Vietnam
- Abandoned Children's Project, Romania
- Anisha Foundation, India
